Established in 2008, Director Adam Johnson formed Astute Funding for the sole purpose of providing an elite experience for customers seeking a higher level of service in the non confirming loan market.

Adam commenced his career in Real Estate where he discovered the importance of clients being able to access funding even if their circumstances wouldn't permit access to regular funding channels. Back then there were not many options in the market for clients who did not fit the banks strict lending criteria.

In 2004, Adam had an opportunity to join with a Market Leading Non-Conforming Mortgage Broker team. A world of possibilities was opened up. With a huge range of products not previously available in the market, more opportunities for borrowers were available than ever before. This exposure and experience working with a team of brokers who focused purely on the non-conforming market space gave Adam a huge opportunity to network with lenders outside of the banks, giving his clients access to many options when the banks (or even second-tier lenders) said no. In the non-conforming space, Adam identified a lack of transparency and level of service that he felt all borrowers should be entitled to, so he decided to do something about it.

Fast forward to the present day, Adam now prides himself on offering an unparalleled level of service, coupled with years of specialist experience in this often challenging field for clients of Astute Funding.
